Current Art Conservation (CAC) is a modern and contemporary art conservation practice. CAC takes an interdisciplinary, collaborative, current approach to how modern and contemporary collections can be cared for. And believes modern and contemporary collections deserve to be cared for in their myriad forms.
CAC draws on a diverse range of expertise from professionally trained conservators, across disciplines to provide you and your art collections with professional advice, expert hand-skills, in-depth research, and thoughtful overall care.
Emily, the director, and founder of CAC has a breadth of experience working in private conservation and within larger institutions. She specialises in Modern and contemporary paintings and has worked on some of the most iconic paintings from the 21st century and will bring her experience and passion to every treatment.
We adhere to the conservations and ethical standards developed by international governing bodies such at The International Council of Museums - Committee for Conservators (ICOM-CC), International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC), American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and the Australian Institute for Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM).
